[Heir to the Jedi] Release dates for Heir to the Jedi and Lords of the Sith pushed back
It appears that the release dates for Heir to the Jedi by Kevin Hearne and Lords of the Sith by Paul S. Kemp have been pushed back by around a month each.
Our friend Eddie van der Heijden of StarWarsTimeline.com[External site - opens in a new window/tab] has informed us that the online literature catalogue edelweiss has updated their listings for these two novels with new US release dates of 17th February for Heir to the Jedi (from 13th January) and 21st April for Lords of the Sith (from 3rd March).
Both Heir to the Jedi and Lords of the Sith belong to the new Lucasfilm Storygroup canon. In Heir to the Jedi, a first-person perspective set between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, Luke Skywalker "struggles to gain a new appreciation for the Force, while a mission for the Rebel Alliance will lead him into more danger than he bargained for"; and in Lords of the Sith, set before A New Hope, "the Emperor and his notorious apprentice, Darth Vader, find themselves stranded in the middle of insurgent action on an inhospitable planet, they must rely on each other, the Force, and their awesome martial skills to prevail".
