The Ruins of Dantooine
By Veronica Whitney-Robinson
Reviewed by Alex Koss, US
I was surprised [...] better than it had any right to be [...] story itself is well paced [...] didn't feel like any of it dragged [...] a weak game of cat and mouse. A chase that doesn't at all seem to be important, and stock forgettable characters [...] a perfectly average book, with ties to Star Wars...read full review

[Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void] Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void
By Tim Lebbon
Reviewed by Ewan, Star Wars Books & Comics
A good introduction to the Dawn of the Jedi era [...] an interesting dynamic between the main story's protagonist and antagonist and it is more than just simple sibling rivalry [...] flashbacks are where the reader can emphasise the strongest with both characters' perceptions of the Force [...] Unfortunately as the main story focuses on Lanoree's journey [...] our empathy is flavoured to be one-sided [...] nice touch in this story is the sense of world-building [...] a cast of strong, believable characters and a plot that engages both his characters and the reader...read full review

a very good read [...] author manages to actually squeeze lots of quality reading out of this [...] very surprised how similar these Clones are to the Clones in the TV-cartoon, considering how Mrs. Traviss left Star Wars writing behind her [...] Traviss-Clones talk and mostly behave like the Filoni-Clones [...] I absolutely did not like, was the descriptions of the Clone-training [...] indeed quite good, but not really up to the fan devotion I came across...read full review
