Review by Darth Kondorr, Poland, 2016:

When the second book revealed the destination for our heroes for the third title, I was afraid, that this was only reader bait, a red herring, but boy was I wrong. Up until book three the connective tissue between this series and the larger universe was rather thin, but this book changed it massively exploring the past of one pretty prominent present Star Wars character. I will not go into spoiler territory, but I am amazed, that they did not promote this as some sort of Rebels tie in or prequel.
