Six children's book released in UK
:

There are no less than six children's books released today in the
UK, all from Ladybird: two story books based on episodes from the TV
series (Destroy
Malevolence and Downfall
of a Droid); two Decide Your Destiny
adventure books (The
Way of the Jedi and Tethan
Battle Adventure); and two activity books (Operation
Huttlet! and Journey
Through Hyperspace). |

New comic story online at
StarWars.com:

StarWars.com have published the first part in a two part
short comic story set between Seasons One and Two of The Clone
Wars animated series. Hunting the Hunters begins
immediately after the events of Episode 22: Hostage Crisis
when Cad Bane has successfully secured the release of Ziro the Hutt.

In other news StarWars.com has confirmed the DVD release of The
Clone Wars: Volume 2 - Clone Commandos for 15th September in
the US. This 4-episode DVD will feature Rookies, Storm Over
Ryloth, Innocents of Ryloth and Liberty on Ryloth.

Children's books for the New
Year and beyond:

Amazon.com have listed three children's titles from Grosset
& Dunlap due for release in January and April 2010. The first
title, Tethan Battle
Adventures by Sue Behrent, looks to be the third Decide
Your Destiny title after The
Way of the Jedi and The
Lost Legion (more than likely a US reprint of the UK
same titled book due to be released in July 2009). Little is known about the other two titles: the
ominously titled Day One
by Rob Valois and Children
of the Force by Kirsten Mayer. Both Tethan
Battle Adventures and Day
One are scheduled for release in the US on 7th January 2010
while Children of the
Force on 1st April 2010.

Title for The Clone Wars
#4 novel:

NJOE.com are reporting that Karen Miller's next The
Clone Wars novel, the fourth in the five novel series is to be
titled The Clone wars: Gambit - Stealth.
Karen Miller has already intimated in her
blog that this novel and the final novel will form a duology:
"This is a 2 parter. And yes -- there is a cliffhanger".
This means that the title of her two novel story arc is Gambit.
The Clone Wars: Gambit - Stealth is due for release on
23rd February 2010 in the US.
