Synopsis:
You can’t keep a bad Sith down!
Darth Krayt has returned from the “dead,” stronger, more evil, and more determined than ever to crush the galaxy under his heel. With Emperor Roan Fel’s Imperials, the Galactic Alliance, the Jedi, and even some of his own Sith followers arrayed against him, Krayt would seem overmatched—but his enemies have not reckoned with the power of the dark side!
If Cade Skywalker was ever going to run from his legacy, now would be the time!
It’s all-out war as the Sith Empire unleashes its forces—and its secret weapons—on the rest of the galaxy. As Emperor-in-Exile Roan Fel loses ground against the Sith, he plots to use the enemy’s own devices against them—regardless of the cost in innocent lives.
Meanwhile, Cade Skywalker has a plan to draw out Darth Krayt for a showdown, a Sith spy within Fel’s ranks is revealed, and Fel’s own spy meets her fate!
While Emperor Krayt's forces strike at hundreds of targets across the galaxy without thought for their own losses, one place has remained safe: the hidden Jedi temple on Taivas. But that happens to be the one place Krayt most wants to annihilate -- if he can locate it and learn the secrets of its defenses.
So, it's only a matter of time... and torture...
The allies launch a series of manoeuvres designed to lure Darth Krayt into a trap. Only who is trapping whom?
As Jedi and Imperial Knights fight shoulder to shoulder against the Sith in defense of the Hidden Temple, Cade Skywalker can’t help but think of his father and the horrible losses the Jedi suffered the last time the Sith attacked...
The tide of battle turns, and the future of the Jedi hangs in the balance!
In the aftermath of the latest battle, the Jedi, the Galactic Alliance, and Roan Fel's Imperials retreat to the stronghold planet Bastion to lick their wounds. In the face of the Sith Empire's new secret weapon, there are some who counsel that resistance is futile.
But the Sith have suffered, too, and Emperor Fel knows that now is the time to attack. Plans are made and plans within plans. For Cade Skywalker knows that this war must ultimately come down to him versus Darth Krayt.
No matter what the cost, Krayt must die!
Battleground Coruscant. The allies have carried the battle to the Sith. The war for control of the galaxy is not over yet. Traitors will be revealed, heroes and villains will fall, and empires will be toppled.
