A Guide to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic comic book series.

			Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is a 50 issue comic book series written solely by John Jackson Miller that, with the absence of other writers, provides a strong continuity throughout the series. The story takes place during the Mandalorian Wars, nearly 4,000 years before the rise of Palpatine and Vader, and nominally focuses on a Padawan named Zayne Carrick, who has been framed for a crime he did not commit, suddenly finding himself on the run from the Jedi Order. Discovering unexpected new allies and trying to prove his innocence, he learns about a secret Jedi organization operating without any attention from the Jedi High Council. His attempts to enlighten the Council to the existence of the Covenant result in a shocking and terrible event that threatens to change the Jedi Order forever.
